Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Due to the global COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic, the Pennsylvania Dental Association (PDA) has made the difficult decision to cancel all sessions of Pennsylvania’s Dental Meeting scheduled April 24 and April 25, 2020, at the Mount Airy Casino Resort in Mt. Pocono, Pa. More information is provided below in the section titled Frequently Asked Questions.

Why did you cancel Pennsylvania’s Dental Meeting?
The Board of Trustees and PDA staff followed recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and consulted with the American Dental Association to make this decision. Protecting the health and safety of our members, your staff and ultimately your dental patients is our priority and the reason for our decision to cancel PDA’s annual meeting.

Will Pennsylvania’s Dental Meeting be held later this year?
Pennsylvania’s Dental Meeting will not be held in 2020. But plans are being finalized for 2021 and the dates will be announced in June 2020.

Will paid attendee registrations be refunded?
All paid attendees will receive a full refund. PDA staff will work as quickly as possible to issue attendee refunds but please understand that our efforts could be delayed by mandates related to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic.

Will my hotel room be canceled?
All room reservations at Mount Airy Casino Resort under PDA’s group code “SPDA420” have been canceled by the staff at the resort. If you have any questions, please call the resort at (877) 682-4791.

Will exhibitors be refunded for booth space?
All exhibitors and sponsors will receive a full refund of the fee paid to PDA to support Pennsylvania’s Dental Meeting.
