Online, Self-Study CE Helpful Tips

  • Before you access the course, add the web page https://learn.padental.org/topclass/ as an allowed site under pop-up blockers. For assistance, Google instructions to add an allowed website for the web browser you use to access the internet. Instructions also are available at the bottom of the Continuing Education page on PDA's website.
  • After you address the pop-up blockers, and are ready to start the course, go to www.padental.org/onlinece. Sign in with your username and password. Click Go To Your Learning Center and launch the course.
  • At the Congratulations You Passed screen, close the internet window (tab) that displays the name of the course. Instructions and screen shots are available at the bottom of the Continuing Education page on PDA's website.
  • The certificate will be saved in your Learning Center. To access your Learning Center, go to www.padental.org/onlinece. Sign in with your username and password. Click Go To Your Learning Center. Click the word Completed to see the list of courses you completed. Click View Certificate.

Technology in Dentistry - Digital health transformation offers great opportunities to design and implement new care delivery models within your practice of dentistry. Understanding the gaps between reality and perception of data and oral health technologies is key to identifying how it can best be used. This course highlights keys to technology adoption in dentistry that can improve care delivery and financial sustainability.
Upon completion of the online training, the participant should be able to:

  • Describe how technology adoption is the necessary to bridge care gaps and better connect to patients.
  • Describe how technology, predictive analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) can become a teammate to help drive better outcomes.
  • Discuss the disruptive technologies that are driving changes in the practice of dentistry and changing patients' interaction with oral health.
