Dental Sleep Medicine-Clearing the Hurdles to Successful Implementation
Six CE credits recommended for dentists, hygienists, dental assistants and EFDAs.
This course is appropriate for those just entering the world of dental sleep medicine who want to learn seamless implementation. This lecture will cover sleep physiology and how it affects overall wellness. Attendees also will learn how to choose the appropriate oral appliance design, how to diagnose and learn about different medical billing options.
Presented by: John H. Tucker, DMD, who has a special interest in the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea and is passionate about educating the dental profession in treatment of the PAP intolerant obstructive sleep apnea patient. In 2007, Dr. Tucker founded Erie Dental Sleep Therapy, LLC, and it became the eighth AADSM accredited facility in June 2012.
