Act 124 - Proper Opioid and Non-opiate Post-op Pain Management and Other Hot Button Drug Topics
Six CE credits recommended for dentists, hygienists, EFDAs and assistants.
Two hours will be pain management alternatives, proper opioid prescribing practices to fulfill the Act 124 CE requirement for dentists with a DEA registration or use a DEA registration as allowed by law. Other hot button topics include the development of therapeutic drugs to treat COVID infections; antibiotic stewardship and odontogenic infections; marijuana use in PA and health benefits of the top 12 vitamins/supplements.
Presented by: Richard L. Wynn, PhD, Professor of Pharmacology at the University of Maryland Dental School in Baltimore. He is the lead author and chief editor of Drug Information Handbook for Dentistry, now in its 24th edition, published by LexiComp, Inc. Dr. Wynn has no additional relevant financial relationships to disclose.

Cancellation policy: A refund, less a 10% administrative fee, will be issued if the registration is cancelled in writing seven days prior to the program you are attending. Refunds are not issued for no shows.
