Smiles for Life

Elizabethtown Dental Associates recently donated $30,000 to the Elizabethtown Area School District to support students and faculty. Raised through the Elizabethtown Dental’s Smiles for Life program, which runs March through June, the money will be used to fund classroom programs and go toward a capital campaign fund.

The Smiles for Life program, created by the Crown Council, allows dentists throughout the United States and Canada to professionally whiten teeth to raise money for children’s organizations in their communities. Participating dentists donate their time to whiten teeth in exchange for donations with 100 percent of the proceeds going to charity. In the past 10 years, Elizabethtown Dental Associates has donated $256,000 to local charities.

“This year’s Smiles for Life campaign was once again a huge success in large part due to the many community members who supported the initiative by having their teeth whitened. We are delighted that the funds will be used locally to enrich the academic and athletic experiences for the students of Elizabethtown,” Dr. Edward White said.
