Medical Emergencies Encountered with Conscious Sedation and General Anesthesia

Medical emergencies can occur at any time in the dental office. Preparation for such emergencies is extremely important. A team approach ensures that all members of the dental team are prepared to handle emergency situations effectively. Attendees can expect to learn more about:

• Discuss the most common medical emergencies.

• Discuss drug related emergencies.

• Identify drugs and supplies required for the dental office emergency kit.

• Review medical history and identify patients at risk for medical emergencies.

• Systematically approach the management of an in office emergency.

Presented by R. John Brewer, EMT-P, a paramedic with more than 40 years of experience who has worked with the dental community since 1998. Mr. Brewer has no relevant financial relationships to disclose.

Cancellation policy: A refund, less a 10% administrative fee, will be issued if the registration is cancelled in writing seven days prior to the program you are attending. Refunds are not issued for no shows.
